The new issue of V Magazine is here and its not your run-of-the-mill glossy. Penelope Cruz covers the magazine’s “Transformation” issue in a technicolored photo, while Paris Hilton reveals her new life (and some other stuff) in unrecognizable shirtless shots.
Cruz looks stunning as always in an edgy editorial by Mert and Marcus. The cover’s coolest selling point is that it’s a hologram that makes Cruz’s eyes open and close if you tilt it back and forth. It’s super trippy, but it’s kind of fun to see the usually romantic-looking Cruz in a more scandalous spread.
The fall issue also features a lengthy interview with a “transformed” Paris Hilton who says she has changed. The infamous heiress claims her bimbo image was just a publicity ploy and that she’s actually really deep. While we can’t vouch for Hilton’s alleged emotional change, she certainly looks different with a blown out ‘do and dark eye makeup.
Hilton also tells the magazine that she hasn’t stopped working on her empire includes fragrances, clothing, shoes, dog accessories and other pet products, watches, hair products, lingerie, scrapbook and art supplies for 15 years. (For our part, we can honestly say we have ever heard Paris Hilton-branded art supplies before).
Also in the issue is a tribute to Lady Gaga, an interview with a vampire (well, vampire lover Anna Paquin, anyway), and the Karl Lagerfeld-shot spread where Daphne Guinness and Amanda Harlech pose as each other. In short, the issue is chock full of surprises and since we still can’t get over these transformations, we thought you should check them out for yourselves.
