Simon Cowell admits there's sexual tension with Abdul

Ever suspected that the testy banter between Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul must have something more behind it? You might be right.

In a recent interview with talk host Wendy Williams, Cowell admitted that there’s been sexual tension between him and his former “American Idol” and current fellow “X Factor” judge over the years. But he’s quick to add that he believes most of it comes from Adbul, who seems to be “starving” for him.

“I once described our relationship — and I use ‘dogs’ a lot with Paula, but not in the American dog sense, in the British dog sense, which is we love dogs — but if I was a can of dog food, she was a starving puppy,” Cowell told Williams. “She used to look at me all the time like the dog would look at the can of dog food.”

As for whether he ever considered, well, letting the puppy have that food, Cowell didn’t deny it.

“It crossed my mind,” he said. “You know, ‘Should I? She probably wants to. … No!’ Mainly because, afterwards, we’d have to talk, and that would be very uncomfortable.”
